This seven-acre natural area in the southeast quadrant of town is “a public park devoted to the many and fine native Michigan trees, shrubs and wildflowers…for teaching the student and for all those who find joy and peace with the beautiful things in nature,” said William J. Branstrom, the local attorney who donated the park’s land upon his death in 1964.
Branstrom Park is Fremont's largest park and contains over 100 acres of woodlands donated by William J. Branstrom.
Fremont Lake Park is a 17-acre park that features a boat launch to Fremont Lake.
Veterans Memorial Park is located in the heart of downtown and is designed to be actively used for a variety of events, festivals and activities.
The Fremont Dog Park was made to establish a safe and secure off-leash park where well-behaved dogs can play and exercise.
