Boards & Commissions

Are you interested in community service? We are always in need of citizens willing to be part of our governing process. Please take a few minutes to introduce yourself:
Those who serve on local boards and commissions are involved with planning, zoning, hospital, library, downtown development and other issues. Vacancies currently exist on several of our boards. The work is challenging but your reward is in doing a great service to our community.
  1. Board of Review

  2. Downtown Development Authority

    Our Downtown Development Authority meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Fremont Municipal Building.

  4. Fremont Community Joint Zoning Board of Appeals

    Our Fremont Community Joint Zoning Board of Appeals meets in the City Council Chambers at the Fremont Municipal Building at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st Monday of each month on an as-needed basis.

  7. Fremont Community Recreation Authority

    The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board was formed in 2000 and met regularly till 2012. In 2013, the Fremont Community Recreation Authority was formed as a collective effort to run the Fremont Community Recreational Programming and Enrichment and potentially own and operate the former high school as a recreation center.
